An island's kitchen, three cuisines, one family.
Mauritius sits alone in the Indian Ocean, but its food never has — centuries of French, Chinese and Indian settlers each left their mark on the island's kitchens, and the result is a cuisine unlike anywhere else. Le Dodo Affamer brings that table to Canterbury, as Sydney's only traditional Mauritian restaurant.
It's a family-run kitchen: the same hands behind dishes like slow-simmered Salmi and Bol Renversé are the ones who'll greet you at the door. Nothing here is a copy of somewhere else's menu.
